This panel will explore the evolving intersection of competition law and sports governance, focusing on how antitrust arguments are increasingly being used in disputes involving sports organisations - both governing bodies and individual teams. Our discussion will examine landmark cases*, emerging legal theories, and the implications for arbitration and dispute resolution in sport. The panel will bring together legal experts, economists, and practitioners to unpack how these arguments are reshaping the rules of the game. 

* For example ISU v European Commission; US FTC vs PGA; Royal Antwerp v UEFA; European Super League v FIFA and UEFA
